Before joining Doma, Jure worked in commercial finance with a national bank and also as a commercial lawyer with a national law firm. He joined Doma in 1998 and has directed the Group’s involvement in residential, hotel, commercial, car parking and mixed-use developments. Jure’s push into large scale urban infill development has seen the Group become a specialist in the ACT in this area of the industry, with this experience now being applied outside of the ACT in precincts such as Honeysuckle, Newcastle.
Jure has steered Doma through some of the largest and complex deals in Canberra. He directed the redevelopment of the Hotel Realm Precinct, Doma’s numerous developments at the Kingston Foreshore and Doma’s development of the Woden Town Centre; namely the Sirius Building for the Department of Health and Ageing and Aviation House for various Commonwealth Departments.
He has also overseen the collection of a significant investment property portfolio spread across office buildings, hotels and car parks. This stable balance sheet with its underlying cash flow enables Doma to participate in larger developments in a strategic manner, best exemplified by the staged roll out and expansion of the Realm Precinct.
