LITTLE NATIONAL HOTEL WINS DELUXE ACCOMMODATION AWARD
Little National Hotel was awarded winner of the Deluxe Accommodation category at the Canberra Region Tourism Awards, hosted at the newly renovated Hotel Realm on Friday night.
This is the first year Little National Hotel, owned and operated by Doma Hotels, has won in this category, having won Best New Venue in 2015 and being Highly Commended in the Deluxe Accommodation category last year.
The annual Canberra Region Tourism Awards provide an opportunity to showcase the best of the region’s tourism operators as well as promote, encourage and reward tourism excellence. Operators are benchmarked on a local level and if successful, proceed to compete for their category title on a national stage.
“Being recognised as the best provider of deluxe accommodation in the national capital is a valued accolade,” said Mr. Patrick Lonergan, Director of Hotels. “Little National Hotel has experienced immense growth since we opened in 2015, and we look forward to shining a spotlight on Canberra and Doma Hotels at the National Tourism Awards.”
“The process of entering the awards is a worthwhile exercise and allows for a full review of business development and success over the previous year”, said Mr. Lonergan. “The award symbolises the work we have done to increase the value of what we provide to our guests, industry and the greater Canberra tourism community.”
Little National Hotel will compete against state and territory winners at the National Tourism Awards, held in March next year in Launceston.
