The 7,292m² piece of prime waterfront land was brought to market by Hunter Development Corporation as part of the ongoing redevelopment of the Honeysuckle Precinct and attracted strong interest from local and interstate developers.
Doma Group were selected as the preferred developer and will continue on from the successful project at 18 Honeysuckle Drive.

To be designed by SJB Architects, Doma Group has developed a concept design that provides a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and individual waterfront townhouses.

Doma Group’s General Manager of Development, Gavin Edgar said “this site represents one of the best development sites in Newcastle’s ongoing revitalisation. Most of the proposed dwellings will have north facing uninterrupted water views. The product will have a distinct bias towards owner occupiers and a larger percentage of 3 bedroom stock to appeal to a broad sector of the market attracted to its great location” he said.

The 21 Honeysuckle Drive development cements Doma Group’s commitment to the Newcastle market and will be the third development by the Group in the city.

Doma Group have appointed Colliers International to market and sell the development. Residential Manager for Colliers International, Dane Crawford said “we believe a lot of potential off the plan buyers will wait patiently for this site to come to the market and we expect that there will strong interest from local and Sydney buyers looking for something special. We expect it will appeal to a lot of downsizers who will have a manageable timeframe to sell their larger homes and move into the Honeysuckle Precinct” he said.
